We said it when it was first released, but now the verdict is in from the man himself: Brian May stated in the June issue of Guitar World that there’s only one stompbox out there capable of nailing his signature sound, and that piece of kit is none other than the Catalinbread Galileo. Though it was not designed in tandem with the man himself, perhaps no other pedal in our line required as much R&D as the Galileo, and we think that after so many years it still comes closer than anything else in the marketplace.
